What is a Prompt?
A prompt is an instruction you give to HelloScribe to get the result that you want. You can write in your own voice - exactly how you speak. No special skills are required, just express yourself clearly.
There's no one way to write a good prompt, but here is a good rule of thumb to follow:
COMMAND + CONTEXT = RESULTS.
THE COMMAND is what HelloScribe should do. For example: "Write an email", "Give me an idea", or "Create a Video Script" - anything you choose. (Write, Think, Create, Imagine, Give) are four popular commands.
THE CONTEXT is the outcome that you want HelloScribe to produce. It should be short (less than 1000 characters) and to the point. Remember, you can write just the way you speak.
But as always, "Garbage In, Garbage Out".
Here is how to write a prompt using our simple formula:
THE COMMAND is: Write a tagline
THE CONTEXT is: for a company that makes shoes from recycled rubber.
The words "shoes", "recycled", and "rubber" will give HelloScribe enough context to give you a good result."
However, you may have a specific audience in mind for your product. So let's provide some more context. Note, the better the context, the better result will be.
So let's add the following: "The target market is the consumer who enjoys the outdoors and believes in protecting the environment.
Great!
Now one more thing. When you want to convey information or persuade people to take an action you have to strike the right tone.

So our full COMMAND and CONTEXT are:
